Leadership & Expertise.
Aviva Health was founded and is currently led by Dr. Juliet Vento, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and former Biomedical Engineer. She has worked concurrently as a Primary Care doctor and Principal Investigator since 2016. By now, she has developed a large base patient panel and has led numerous clinical trials spanning all therapeutic areas (i.e. Alzheimer’s, Depression, Hypertension, CKD, Obesity, Vaccines, First-in-human, Bioavailability/ Bioequivalence etc.)
Community.
Aviva is located in Miami, FL, a vibrant and diverse community. Our area is home to wonderful people from all corners of the globe, particularly Latin America. Dr. Vento, an immigrant herself, has served as a primary care doctor to this community since 2013. As such, she understands the needs of the area and its population. Our subject database, built through years in research and primary care, is vast and representative of this wonderful community.

As such, and while carefully following inclusion/exclusion criterias, we are able to recruit different populations as needed.

With our centralized decision making team, large patient database, and ready-to-go site, we can provide sponsors/CROs with rapid start up times and flexibility to adjust them as needed.

We believe in a strong relationship between our site and sponsor/CRO. We are proactive in seeking feedback and timely in responding to queries and communications.
Technology.
We employ the latest and most reliable technology to assist our operations at Aviva. For instance, our IP storage rooms are monitored with state-of-the-art wireless temperature monitoring solutions. Our IP rooms and Medical Records storage rooms are protected by multiple security layers and keyless entry. Lastly, we use a proprietary software for clinical trial management.
Teamwork.
Our site is staffed with highly skilled coordinators, medical assistants, nurses, technicians. We are all GCP and BLS/ACLS certified in addition to our primary credentials. Moreover, we foster a cooperative atmosphere so our studies can succeed.
